NOPE. acclimate and plop it in. I run a 25W UV 24/7. I have not bought a fish in like a very long time

Got my copperband butterfly today! Looks great and already eating!

I very much want to add one but am reluctant to as I have 4 tangs that may not approve. The Purple has grown fastest and seems to like to assert himself over his tankmates.

I only have a blue eyed bristletooth tang, and other than the lawnmower blenny, who teases him constantly, cat and mouse, he doesn't bother anyone else. Yet...

I want a Copperband too, I just worry about vacation and it not eating pellets/flakes while I'm gone.

I'm going to print a feeder for him, fill it full of mysis and some X small TDO pellets when he gets use to it. Maybe it will happen but seems pretty rare.

That's my worry too, but let's be honest I don't ever go on vacation. Lol

I go camping a few weekends a year and always close enough I can go back to the house if I got to.

Sold my UV, ich got better after I took it off too lol. Back to quarantine

2-3 days isn't a worry anyway.

I got that small blue tang also the kids wanted, he is being quarantined until he is ready. Ich...

I couldn't resist with the copperband, fat, eating and looks happy, I just got through doing some dips and he's in the 75 now.

I also have a UV I run 24/7 but it won't cure flukes or internal parasites.

Yes and even less if it was eating acros. But, I think its rare that they eat lps/sps.
