Awesome...so it's a solid 3-400 on the racks in water? That's a good spot to be in.
Yeah. I used a GHL wifi mini for a controller so ill have to do some real measurements tmrw throughout the photo period. Suprisingly simple for how complex I was worried it would be. Excited to see some results. Going to put a piece of valida in the sick tank as a canary.

With blues I'm about 800 at waterline and about 350ish about halfway down in the tank about 200 sandbed with no obstructions

Interested to see what it does with the new tank which is 5 inches taller. Albeit the front vipars are only at 76% blue in the front and 58% in the back so there's a little juice left if needed. Will be adding 4 helix bars also. Quanta is the jam on lighting. Cool he filled a new need with the atlas.

Is that what you typically run at or is that just max power testing
Typical. 1% Whites come on for about an hour and a half everyday whilst I'm gone so I never test it thoroughly..it adds and extra 25 par or so

I typically only run white at 1-3% a few hours a day.

More was asking if you consistently run 800 at waterline which seems very high but I read again and you said 350-400 mid, 200 sand, and that seems more on the normal side for sps tank. Then I realized I have no idea what my waterline is. I’ve only tested mid level and sandbed

I also don’t have a packed sps reef

That's just where it hits the water...which is really kind of irrelevant..lol. just an interesting note.

My display is about the same there, poor valida is getting roasted in 550 or more. Racks are all 250-350. Since most of the SPS ate the dirt in the frag tank i dont wanna cook the LPS, zoas, and few sticks still living, plus adjustment to the spectrum.

The coolest thing so far is the impact on shading. You can wave your arm across the tank and not see a shadow on the frag racks. Also bizzare being able to take a photo without an orange filter or pro-mode. I launched the canary:

Something always becomes dominant. Mixed zoa gardens eventually end up one strain

Looks good though clearly took a while to get that way
