Start with light par then move to water quality. It was upgrading to tripple di. Stopping watersaver method on second membrane and changing out filters monthly. Something was getting through!

If you want a general par level I recommend the photone app. It's not perfect but it gives you a decent idea if where you are and it's free

Depends where it's going .space wise. And I like the larger one makes it easier to crumble the debris and coraline off

I've never had any problem getting par readings with the free version. Personally given what it costs to even rent a par meter I don't mind paying for the pro version
