Did they rise it more than they should....look at renters rights for ma?
There’s no such thing as rent control in Newton, that much I know. And in any case for the same size place we won’t do any better.

The part that sucks the most is how impossible it is to save enough for a down payment to escape the trap.... i have a few buddies who bought duplex's in boston, rented one and lived in the other, but even the equity down to pull that off is inassessible to most these days. Tough area man. The positive side is ya dont gota break down the tank!

It has been for a while i think. I havent done any research on it, but in passing, i think its bassically end-of-life and the uno replaces all previous models. I could be wrong on my assumption though.

Yes there’s that. I’m actually very grateful. My corals are mostly starting to show how much they like the still fairly new digs. Next step is to get the bubble algae under control and kill some aiptasia that mostly showed up from the last live rock delivery

Yeah I like the Uno quite a bit. I’m seriously thinking of keeping the radion and selling the ReefBreeders Photon v2 I have. I mean the other option is sell all the lights and get a 48 inch Photon v2 only. Ooorrr….change my mind and keep the Nano I’ve been trying to sell. Put the Uno back with it and try to keep corals in it again. And sell the Radion and ReefBreeders and put a 48” ReefBreeders there

Naso tang was the only natural thing that worked, and even that was maintenance. Anytime my po4 got to .1 or above, it was like a light switch, i had a legit outbreak. Emerald crabs, foxface, manual removal and whatever else didnt do a dang thing. Naso does eat it (2 out of 2 nasos in my experience) but wont eradicate it.

Vibrant at half dose twice per week, less to start, for a few months got me back to ground 0 with no losses or degredation of coral, but i still have a tiny amount here and there. I would use algae fix if i had to do it again due to ethical concerns and vibrants marketing tactics. But my po4 is stabilized, kind of on autopilot for now.

I’ve used Flux Rx for hair algae in the past with fairly good success. Tank is too small for Naso , I’ve been thinking FoxFace. And between my wrasses and a small mantis in the tank I think emeralds would be extinctified pretty quickly.

Rents been through the roof there for a long while, so even a $500 increase, is alot of someones expendable income but not alot in % of increase of rent. Most states dont offer that protection either.

Im sticking my boat in the water and going fishing at 6am, it will be a cool 70 degrees, may need a windbreaker. God bless you guys in the NE.
Bendin' tips and rippin' lips boys

@Kasrift. The bubblegum digi is starting to take over. I took a large chunk and put it high down in my 180. Let see if it like it as much as the 65. It's the easiest coral to frag and encrust in like no time. I frag and gave so much away and still
