nah, that wasn't me haha.

i use 2 hydra 32hd's and both have the reefbrite xho kits roughly 12" over the water, over a 3' 40B. i WANT to upgrade to the reefi. might have to sell my hydra's/reefbrite's and buy a reefi. if i have $$ leftover i'll put it towards 2 quanta bars. i'm planning on switching to a 60G cube from this 40B. my GF wants to have more room in the living room, for our dog..so i have to compromise :(
You can always mix and match. I had 3 xr30s, then got two unos, then got the third and swapped the unos to primary position. Im keeping my 30s for when i move to the 8fter i dont have the cost of a used car in front of me for lighting.

Stupid question. What does an UNO even look like. Only 2 lights I've ever used are AI and Kessils

i thought about keeping the hydras/reefbrite kits in the event of lights failing on me, or if i ever go bigger than the 60G cube i hope to upgrade to. however, i don't want to keep equipment laying around collecting dust lol. back ups are always a good thing, but....decisions, decisions...

also, @luxdium is working on lens upgrades for the hydra32's, which is why i've held on to them for as long as i have.. :thinking-face:

Here’s the way the lights are now. I’ve got the ReeFi on the one end the ReefBreeders Photon covering most of the rest and a 24” ReefBreeders lumen bar(Blue/UV). Maybe cram the Radion on the end basically like the ReeFi ?or sell the ReefBreeders and get one more compact?

Id sell the xr15 no matter what and figure out what ya wanna do for even simple coverage.

Id hate to have 3 interfaces to play with. 2 is bad enough.

I’ll take your par challenge against my ATI Stratons.
I would think comparable. I'm about 240-280 on sand running 80% on one channel...the other channel (white) isn't even on. So really...not even 50% of the light. If I turn on 100% both channels it's something rediculous but I forget....over 1200 at wl

why not just get another reefi and put it in the empty side? (right side)

Makes lots of sense. Probably end up waiting til the light actually arrives to make my final decision.

Agree comparable. I’ll check today- I know bau im 700-800 at the surface (75%) with them mounted ~12” above. Dollar for dollar without a doubt you win- but I win design :)

Yeah..you win in basically every category...love the Stratons and icons. Can't beat a panel led with any of these small source light leds as far as spread/coverage/shadowing

My light was only about $750 total 2 ocean revives 247 and 2 marine orbit ic pro for accent lighting. Im at 600 par with only 8 percent whites running blues at 100 percent at surface.
