my GF and i went to wawa for quick breakfast, and gas, then drove down to our LFS. while leaving wawa i walked right by @Reefer_kano (mind you, i had already invited him to the EPRA local group here on r2r so we’ve been aqcuainted). didn’t even know! when we got to the LFS he was there and noticed we had seen each other earlier, but he recognized me because of my dog (see icon), and asked if i was SHAKACUZ on r2r, to which duh i am! so we exchanged names and numbers and had a nice laugh about it. we’ve been keeping in touch ever since!

having people actually local is such a cool thing! really does bring the hobby together

we’ve walked our dog several times outside his house. and we made a comment at how we knew he had a fish tank based off the lights from outside, because funny enough across the street from him someone uses bright red/purple light for their plants and we made a similar remark because we thought they had their refugium/algae reactor going hahaha

We all get on lookers with the blue lights. I have one in my living room and basement. At least they don't suck up that much juice that would draw attention form the authorities

Hey Steve. Do you point the cages a little up toward the water surface for agitation or no

I took my chance with a yellow coris wrasse in a tank with no cover. It was fine for a few months, but found it in my sump this morning. Not even sure how it ended up in the sump since the sump is in the stand directly below the tank. It must have got lucky and bounced off the wall and then into the sump. However, it happened to land in the only (and small) section of my sump with freshwater for top off...
