Yup that’s accurate. It all started with a gift card. Now my tank has 65 sticks, zoas, mushrooms, 5 torches, acans, and anemones all from SBB.

My wife asked me after the shipment this week if I liked my corals better than my fish lol

Non-coral objects have one purpose, clean algae and a gauge if my corals big enough for them to swim through.

Well this is true. I did revoke a few fish from the tank

People can't understand how I like corals over fish and especially cant understand how I like stick corals better than "flowy" corals... I don't think anyone who has successfully grown acros likes lps or fish better than sticks.

I couldn’t keep any torches hammers or acans because of coral nipping. For a few years Then I basically went fishless for 1.5 years. I bought ugly cardinals who barely swam just to keep some natural nitrates and started adding corals and rebuilding. Then…the cardinals started biting and killing corals, including a 4 yr old gold wall hammer. They killed it twice. they killed the parent and they killed the frag I made in attempt to save some of it

If you can grow acros you can grow almost anything else you see that's common in the hobby. I like a ton of other corals but they aren't as difficult. It's the struggle and satisfaction of success i.e. color, growth, problems..blah blah that attracts me to sticks as my #1
