My Apple Jacks was all green under Halides. Since switching to the Orpheks 3 weeks ago, it’s now added on some purple

Mine is usually fuzzier, but it just got moved to the new ledge this afternoon. Should open back up tomorrow.

I'm an idiot and I have nobody to blame but myself.

I did an infrequent water change today. I have a small tank, 100L, so I just siphon 5g out, pump 5g in. I started siphoning and suddenly started seeing something coming out of the hose. It turns out it was polyps of my SBB bright AF HG. I'd caught it with the hose.

It is starting to inflate again. I'll prophylactically KFC dip every other day for the next week.

That's what I get for doing a water change.

One of my first big hobbies, RC planes, helis, and build your own drones. That was before all these babies made it difficult to hold a controller to fly. But it was a blast!! 100mph+ white knuckles, 2m gliders lazily drifting through the sky, or some of the fun dogfights.

One day I would like to take my kids out and get them involved in the hobby.

One of my first big hobbies, RC planes, helis, and build your own drones. That was before all these babies made it difficult to hold a controller to fly. But it was a blast!! 100mph+ white knuckles, 2m gliders lazily drifting through the sky, or some of the fun dogfights.

One day I would like to take my kids out and get them involved in the hobby.

Interesting that since I rehomed the hippo tang, I’m getting better polyp extension on just about everything. Guessing she was liking more than just the Zoa’s. The entire tank seems happier. Fish are all out swimming around calmly and corals all look happier. She must have been a true sea witch and was messing with everything.

I got rid of my big one for a small one, the small one is signifcantly worse. Dude swims around nipping mille all day

Any particular reason to get those instead of a cheap panel or bar? Just want more light I suppose? You know, to see the fish.

Of course I would throw a few pieces of GSP in the tank for looks. Maybe a few cheap mushrooms, a leather or two.

Not really a FOWLR but if the fish eat it.... Oh well...
