Out of curiosity can corals survive an increase in nitrite levels and a little bit of ammonia, also anemones?
In a 112g system and lacking fish. I dose 5ml of ammonium chloride every 4 hours. Corals can utilize ammonia. Theres an article somewhere about it.

As for nitrates, i think you'd really need to go about 10+ what they are used to. Some cannot survive higher end numbers.

First SBB order. When I picked the box up off the ground I could feel the bottom was wet and it started dripping. Must have been dropped on one corner.

Opened the box and the inside was wet. Pulled the Styrofoam box out and the corner was cracked and dripping. Cut the foam box open and all the peanuts were soaked and sitting on top was a wet sticker. Luckily the back was still readable. Looks like I pulled #3.

In the wet corner were the snails and the freebie. The bags still had enough water left in them so they should be fine. Even had some polyp extension on the freebie in the bag with barely any water. Pulling the rest of the coral out, the blues clues goni was glowing even in dim room lighting. Can wait to see what it looks like in the tank.
