Thank you
I've been waiting for someone to mention it. I didn't want to ask or say anything. How about it Shane @SBB CoralsAre you saying if we cracked the code we can order?
You're as bad as I amLocked and loaded in case I decide to pull the trigger and the go is given
That way lies a deep rabbit hole….I may have started a cart.... but still not sure if I'll order anything
It will be just a little higher than the Acro’s to the right of it. Since it will be under only one light, I wanted it a bit higher to be able to get above 300 par without raising the light intensities. They should be getting 300-350 PAR.Looks good. I like the large shelf. Been making smaller shelfs in my tank as the big one I have is right under the power heads
My suggestion is....unless you want that monti to take the whole structure over eventually...don't mount any of it to it.Project started. Decided to go with the dry rock. I knew I would have to do some cutting and grinding, so getting that done first. Flattened the tops and bottoms of the base rocks. Trimmed the top ledge to fit in the space it’s going in up against the current rocks with very little gap.. Dare I say sitting on the table it feels solid as a rock. Once I put them in the tank, I’ll epoxy them together for more stability. Right now, the rocks will go in an old quarantine tank with bacteria and pumps to cure for a few weeks. That will give me time to trim off all the plating monti to save as much as I can that would be hidden from the light. I’ll glue the top to the base rocks when they go in the DT and then glue the monti frags to the sides of the bases. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I’m thinking it shouldn’t be a problem. It’s an encrusting monti and it would have to grow up through the shadows under the ledge before it could get on top. As it sits right now, it hasn’t tried to climb the cliff to the right of it.and he has to turn into @robanister with the blow torch
To each their own...perhaps an isolated rock next to it if it's just because you want to keep a piece.I’m thinking it shouldn’t be a problem. I don’t like bare rocks. I like the encrusting monti’s to cover space. If they start trying to go up, I’ll put a stop to it.To each their own...perhaps an isolated rock next to it if it's just because you want to keep a piece.

Check your pmIf anyone's looking for some Kessil A360X lights, I have a couple I'm selling. I'll give active SBB participants a deal on them.
