In my first foray into reefing about 10 years ago I just…didn’t measure mag…like an idiot. You all ever look back on reefing decisions and slap your forehead?

Anything over 1500 will have the snails moving slow and not too much higher will kill them..but 1450 ish is q good target. Doesn't bother my acros.

So i feed a cube and like 6 or so silver slides a day, and the silver slides always felt really light so i figured hey thats only like 4 cubes a day which for a tank my size is really light. Well i weighed them out last night and it turns out they are quite a bit heaver. It looks like im feeding around 45g a night and my cube was around 3, so i gues im feeding 15 cubes a day -_- no wonder i can't keep my phospates down lol
