Duplicates are never a bad idea, that's why I have a grow-out tank. Main colony in the basement, frag growing in the main tank for display

I have a second tank that I eventually plan on stocking with frags from corals in my main display tank so I keep a back up in case something awful happens to one of my tanks.

I read some of the threads on it, did they identify what was wrong with their products from Turkey, specifically what was the unwanted element.

And the icp tests were fine.

Because ICP doesn't test for clay contaminants and whatever else was in there. If you dose Gold into your tank corals will still die from heavy metal toxicity but an ICP won't show it because they don't test for AU

I'm debating on getting a new DT or something like a lowboy 50 gallon to use as a grow out/coral DT tank. Just haven't decided if I want to manage 2 tanks or one bigger tank...
