Started looking online for a new tank. Saw that Petco has tank 50% off right now, and am debating asking my wife if we can go with this 60 gal cube. It's overall foot print is fairly small, but still tall enough to get some fish I've wanted since I was little watching my father's tanks. Any thought's?

I'll have too look that up. My wife agreed I could restart a tank. So now it's time to shop and get prices. Also measurements as we don't have a big space that I can use.

@billyocean When you get a chance, can you share a picture of a frag spike inserted in a rock? Trying to picture what it looks like and I can only find pictures of the spikes themselves.

Glad I'm raising my frags. Some warfare is taking some out. I had 1 rtn today on a full rack....little sad.

Nah. Especially with the fragspike 2.0 via @stoney7713 a 3/16" drill bit is the course to take for the holes.

If you do stick it in a bigger hole you can stick some putty and glue on the spike.

Thanks for the info. I’m going this route and drilling plenty of holes so I can move frags as they grow and in case they aren’t happy in a spot.

I plan on ordering my tank in November. Picking up a sump next Sunday.
