I showed the vendor the shipping damage pictures after I lost it and convinced them it was related to the mysterious death and they said “you had it for a week and it was looking good, and while it can’t be proven, it is possible”

They offered a compromise and to send a replacement for $150 shipped and I happily agreed.

This is where i bought my culture. Heres 6 days in on nanno and 3 days on rhoda and iso

Lost another frag today. Always on Monday. Noticed worms on the frag. Still dipping. Today is dip 5. Also wc 5. Alk steady 8.1 or better is 151ppm or 8.45 dkh. Trying to bring that down to 8.0 dkh. Less 4ml of alk.

Don't start that. It's clearly aefw that are still there. I have always run my alk 7.9 to 8.1. If above I see issues. That where it likes to be. No biggies. @Thuan also runs lower alk

Yes 7.9 is my sweet spot. Looks the best.

Also i use af 123 . That's where my mag and ca are on par with wanted perimeters . You dose the same amount of all 3.

Yeah im sanitizing some stuff and getting ready to boil water to split the nano. More jars coming so i can run some.backup cultures. This round of nano got dark fast. Going toncheck it under a scope to be sure.

I brew in 1.3 gallon bags. That way it's less easy to contaminate. But watch for falling over. Did that

Esv is strong then I was around 100 ml of each in 120 gallon.

I like the jars because i can put them in my baby bottle sanitizer along with the lids, stir bars, air tubes, etc.

I ordered some sodium thiosulfate as this boiling water and waiting for it to cool is for the birds.

So far this phyto thing is stupid easy.
