Idk. I am worried it's not enough par. Just an odyssea 2 bulb fixture. The anemone was probably 12 inches under water about 15 from the light. I was thinking flow issue. Have a reefbreeders rp-45 lowest setting but when it is running the tank gets hit pretty hard. Only a 42g bowfront. But we will see tonight if it's moved again. At least it wasn't hanging out in the pump!
As in t5 oddessey? Yeah junk those immediately . Mine started to smolder. Pre fire

Yes. And from research says 12 inches bellow water line is around 100 par. I am thinking about hanging my 48" reefbreeders over the tank but man 48" over a 36" tank. The light spill alone would be annoying. Time to find some muscle to move the 180g in the house and get it rolling.

This is the plan. Last time I had someone I know move and aquarium just a 120 gallon. He struggled 20 feet in the carry. He was a 21 year old I worked with i wast 35 at the time like what the heck you tired for. At 21 id almost toss the 120g on my back and carry it. Not really but man I was shocked.

what the heck… I came downstairs this morning and my urchin ATE my new zoa colony. Is that something they usually do? There’s only like 2 polyps left…

@wjm6449 any change in your tank? How is everything doing now?
Well, the Dinos are on the rockwork, but it seems like they've taken a pause. May be because of the phyto dose bacteria dose live rock and that im letting it ride. Yesterday I blew some of the rock with a turkey baster and got some dino's off, just the way the tank is set up its difficult to get the front face of it. But, no dino advancement is a win in my book.

Well after you move 3 hours from your hometown and have 7 children the word friend doesnt exist! I have a cousin whos husband will help just need to find the time that works for us all. We will probably have to carry it up to the deck and in through the kitchen. My entry would be tough with how my front door sits. I'm getting g a plan in place.

The tank was in my garage. and had to go down to like 11 stairs to my basement. If my basement door was a bit bigger, I would of gone with the 220gal instead of 180

Halloween urchin. He eats a lot of algae, but also apparently zoas...
I don't think any cuc is really full-proof. I've had shrimp and crabs eat stuff, chocolate chip starfish even, just not an urchin. Honestly, I'm not completely surprised but I would be pretty mad if he ate that many of mine.
