I tried all the same things as you with mine. They just lack the will to live. I'm hoping some day they have captive bred ones because i'd love to have one but they just don't work.

I live in Central ny which is all farms and 30-45 mins to any of the nearest stores and I grew up in NYC which was an hour anywhere with traffic...

Is an hour not normal....

20mins to get to work at 5am

45mins to get home

Stoopid traffic

Typically here in the Phoenix area we complain if it takes more than 20 minutes to get somewhere.
