Revive is not KCL, Reef Primer is potassium salts. I used to use Revive and still have a bottle. Its smells like pine, it is plant extracts.

I just run it for 24 hours on MP40 wet side and frag racks and then scrub and rinse. Haven't seen any ill effect.

I don’t know about days. I’d do the 30 minutes, get it out and then refill with freshwater and let that run for days.
