I almost never chase them because if the forecasts allows I’d rather drive north and go look for albacore in Oregon waters.

Receeding tissue. its stopped/started over time. Maybe 6-9 monthsbat this point. No space exposed to light has shown progression, only shaded area. On the backside it stopped where light shines, months ago.

I wouldn’t worry much about that. I’ve seen it happen in the same situation

Some decent sized fish up here specially compared to the ones we use to be able to chase out of San Diego. I say we frequently catch 25lb albacore with the occasional 30lb fish mixed in bigger than 40 is still very very rare in my expirence
