Haha they do the call them Gonis. There’s always one one or two Alves mixed in and labeled as Gonis. I saw at least one in the auction.

About to go out to send my defective light back. I don’t like the way the owner/seller deals with warrantee issues/defective units. complained that at he had to pay $14 to send me a new one via priority mail. Like wow. Two things keep me from complaining to the BBB where the company is located.
1:the light when it works properly is very nice
2: too much hassle.

Well I'm considering upgrading the light on my Fluval. Stock light and hood are nice but things don't seem to really thrive. I'm thinking of trying the NooPsyche K7. I'll just have to set up an ATO and install a screen top.

Well if the light has worked and I didn’t have to go thru all the other stuff. I’d be singing its praises. Like I said the working unit is wonderful. I just think the way the issue was dealt with was a bit unprofessional
Yeah..agreed. Maybe he's been burned by sending a new light only to recieve the old one and find out the customer broke it...lol. that's all I can figure

I can't say since I don't know of any other light besides Kessil and AI. Now it's Quanta bars. Had one kessil failed and it was still under warranty. I had to send them a short video and I got a brand new one in less than a week and didn't have to pay any shipping.

Maybe. But seemed put out that I wouldn’t just take a replacement fan or send it out for service. I’m not that handy and I’m not gonna be the one that breaks it even more by digging around inside it. Shouldn’t have to for something that expensive. It wasn’t til I said I’d agree to put a payment as hostage that he’d send a new one. Uh wha? Anyways it’s done and on move I see my money refunded I’ll call it case closed

About the interface for controls. I’ve pretty much gotten all the basics down and doesn’t so klunky. I’ll always prefer native app but this works just fine. The amount of control is fantastic and now that it works as intended I’m back to fine tuning the settings. These are the settings on an iPad

Moon setting give just enough light to give a little “glow” . Like I said, the lights are very nice now that they work properly.
I like it there.
