I have this light... Non-dimmable, and each T5 pair (front and back) has a power cord - they end up on the same side of the fixture. I got the extension endplates and longer light mounts and the distance between the banks is 12". I like it :)
Oh, and the nuts that come with it (for hanging) are square, metric size M4. The official Giesemann hanging kit is no longer available in the US, and shipping from Germany is over $75...

I can crank my kessils more if I need to. Things seem to be liking the lights, gonis have been ***** lately, probably because the tank is getting cleaner. Gotta do something about that.
These have been on marketplace for a while now, so if I need MOAR lamp (did I say it right?) I can grab them easily enough.(or what scratch threw up.)

Wow.. at that price for a 48" unit, it is kind of hard to ignore vs $600 for the other guy.

You're running this light currently?

They are non dimmable, correct?

Are they single or dual corded? If dual, are the in/out on one circuit or front bank/back bank?
Not currently running it, but was up until a month ago, and plan to put it over the lowboy when I set it up.
They are dual corded and one cord per bank…I rewired mine to be two center bulbs on one circuit and outer bulbs on the other…not difficult to do. And yes Non-Dimmable.

Edit: my tank is 60"x30" and I got the 48" fixture... Could have opted for the 60" and been fine too
I'm probably going to be buying two pair. I can't buy the appropriate amount of extruded aluminum plus ballasts for that price.

6ft max for FTS unless wide angle lens.

Gosh man I'm digging the tank. One day stuff will grow in here...

Hoping to regain some dignity after the dinos and losing all that coral. Maybe get the honor of steveopora again.

If I'm not mistaken your light bars look like orphek but maybe aren't. What are they?

ReefBreeder High Octane (for coral pop only, not for any noticeable par)
