So should I get a bunch of his live rock then and just rely on some lettered olive snails to clean up some of the big ones? I know he has a tony of nice hitchhikers on his rocks like brittle stars, the one nice thing about the rock is it’s been in a tank that’s been set up for years

Popped into my garage shop this morning and there were a few leaks.

Think this may be the issue? Waters about a foot deep. Drains all got plugged by debris. Took 12 minutes to drain through two 2"x3" spillways. Glad it didn't cave the roof in.

I'm a fan of old rock. My systems are compromised of rock from a bunch of old set tanks and ocean direct and dry.

You can qt the rock keeping it fishless in a tub to ward off transferring of any parasites. That will also give you an option to closely inspect for other undesirable hitchhikers.

I’m going to get about 150lbs of live rock for 200 from him- already have a bucket that I’ll get set up, just need the future hubby to make me a stand for the 75 gallon sump and the stock bucket will go on top of it for now- I get the rock in two weeks and the tank in a month

Everything is looking amazing brotha!

Yellow/orange shoulder tang and blonde nasos are some of our favorites.

Our orange will eat from our hand in the lagoon, he's slowly teaching the others :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Can't wait until you add them ;)

What size is your qt tank bro. Agree with @MERKEY that orange shoulder is a beaut. Or is this one of those lots of tanks so little time tanks lol. But seriously tank size and dimensions for the qt looking into getting a stable qt running for some things that might be coming in the near future.

That qt is my 120 that I bought loaded that I've never gotten rid of. 4x2x2. It has come in handy having to fallow the main display. I've also got my 40b permanent qt running. This will break down when the fish go back in.
