Well today the tank build started up again ! Got under the house and put the supports in . Got all my sand and starting to mix salt . Doing some final cementing . Getting wet soon !!!

Picked up new goodies today !

Made a template for the controller mounting board today . It will be above the Ato reservoir and have hidden slides . It will be able to slide completely out and allow access to behind the reservoir for the energy bar and electrical . Will probably do a false front and back light it eventually.

Don’t mean to be rude but how much do you think set up cost?

depends on how crazy you go ! The 750 is 3k by it self . I probably went overboard but oh well ! You can’t take your money with you !

Update:

Tank is running great . Skimmer is broken in and running perfect. I’m running bio pellets as the tank cycles . Water is getting clear now . I decided not to run the the other 2 reactors at this time . I may plumb back in the carbon reactor once the tank cycles to clear up the water even better . The octopus pumps are extremely quiet. I went with the tunze Ato and it has been performing perfectly. Hopefully this weekend I will begin building the apex mounts . Time to bust out the table saw and wood tools ! Should come out really slick !

Hooked up the gyre 280 tonight just to see how it would perform! wow that gyre moves water ! It’s extremely quiet also . I’m pretty impressed with the capability of the controller. I also am pretty excited for the weekend to get started installing the apex and controller board . I’ve kicked around a couple ideas for mounting and finally came up with the winner ! Very excited to revel it when it’s done ....

What size you run ur Red pvc pipe in mate? 3/4?

It’s all 1 inch .

So from the 3 pipes coming from. The overflow it's better running in 1inch? And not 3/4? Need to get it right as coming state side in 2 weeks and wanna pick up. Some coloured pvc and fittings to bring back to UK. Cheers
