Wow, just Wow!!! Hey Ryan, this is Anthony from youtube. I'm planning out my system for the summer (fingers crossed) and seeing your build I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo hype for it. That tank is BONKERS!! Couple of questions for you. How tight a fit is the Synergy?? No issues getting the doors back on I'm assuming. When do you expect to put water into the system?? I LOVE the Varios pumps too man. I have a Varios 8 for my Reefer425 and a second one sitting in my garage for backup. Probably go with a Waveline for my 750XXL though as I want to go with a different color scheme.

Thanks bro ! I’ve put a lot of thought into the tank! So far it’s coming out perfect. The synergy reef sump gives you about 3/4 inch on each side to slide in and looks awesome. The doors do fit back on . For the time being I’m running without them , until I modify them. I’m trying to get it wet in 2 months. Im waiting for my rock to cure and have to purchase my apex and powerheads ( in the next couple weeks ) im also waiting for my custom ATO reservoir and dosing reservoirs to be completed from zen reef ( I designed this all in one reservoir that fits the other side of the cabinet and matches the sump )They are also building my reactor stand and a pod condo .

Just watched the video. I have all the tools on hand to do exactly that. Thanks for the great idea. Three of us moved my 155 tank this past weekend into a uhaul with me carrying one end by myself. Wasn't one of my brightest ideas. I will be getting more help for this one, ha.

Looking forward to the rest of your build!

Ohhhh the fun stuff in Reefing ! Starting on reinforcing my floor . A few more 4by4’s and screw jacks and pavers will do the trick ! Luckily the scissor trust goes right under the tank ! Now having to crawl under this tight space is going to be a blast !

UPDATE. .... Work has been slow on the tank due to the holidays , kids , work , etc. the list goes on and on I did add a couple more unions on the drain lines towards the end . I’m getting ready to cement everything soon . Rock cure is going good . The pukani is looking really good now . Still waiting on my order from Zen reef , I’m excited to see those parts ! They should be here in a week or so .

Thanks for the idea on how to use standard pvc. I have mine installed now. I did have to make the pipe in the overflow permanent as I didn't want to reduce the 1 inch drain pipe. I left enough pipe so I can cut and use a coupling if I ever need to.

Extremely perfect in all the sides. Congratulations!

I only have one comment o question for the return line, is there a problem for putting the PVC drain horizontally? I mean some noise or less flow?

Ryan, I was gonna get another Elite Aquatics sump, but after seeing that the 44 does fit the stand I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go Synergy now. Quick question though, if I were to get it configured for right to left flow would hard plumbing still be possible??? From the pics you show it certainly appears that it would but I just wanted to hear it from you. Thanks for your time and MORE PICS/UPDATES :)
