Ryan has done more than me... I worked at a Cadillac and Hummer dealership and then started my job playing in the mud where I've been for going on 20 years (I think it was 20 in July).

OK. Just test alk before lights off at 8pm. It's 8.0. 1st reading at 6:40am was 8.0; 2nd reading at 12:40pm was 7.9. And last reading now at 7:40pm was at 8.0
I like to keep in a bit lower, so I'll take out one of the dosage.
That thing is dialed in! Miss a dose per day until it falls to where you want it and then add that dose back into the schedule......done.

Got a 25 year service pin this week, don’t actually have 25, they gave me 6 years of “service time” for my time in the national guard

It's nice to have been able to secure yourself somewhere for 20 years though! Leafguard sales was what I aspired to make it too from when I started there installing. Made it happen after 9 years and crushed it in sales. The money was great but the problem was I didn't like it. There was too much drive/seat time and that's when the realization reaffirmed my need to work with my hands and be active whilst working. There's no real achievement felt by me like "that was a great sale" other than a few minutes of "ok cool..that ones done". To me, life is much more enjoyable to see the look on a client's face when you present them with something tangible that you rocked out and exceeded their expectations.

Gotta say I'm jealous of all you folks that have a lot of time invested in a single place. I worked as an auto mechanic for 17 years. Probably went through twice as many shops. There's a reason toolboxes have wheels, and for me it boiled down to ethics. Watching other mechanics sabotage and mangle their work to get that 'better sale' irritated me to no end, and it's widespread in the Chicago area. So I put my work in more honest lines. Worked for a steel blanking plant as their lead mechanic on the shears and forklifts because their 'mechanic supervisor' had at best been an operator on a turret press. Stayed there until the company bankrupted itself on a new continuous line only to have their best trained operator crash the CNC leveller in the first week of running material through it... Took what I'd saved, bought a house in Rockford, and spent the next 7 years at Autozone. Figured out I was just as good at sales as I am at turning wrenches. Then CoCo hit, customers started becoming more Karen than customer, even ones I'd known for years, and I decided my personality wasn't suited for 'today's customer base'... got a call from Seneca Foods a week later, that Thanksgiving week I was learning new machinery and working my way back up the ladder.

Now I run the boiler room... and own all it's problems.
