Edit: nevermind I got it. Run skimmer just take off cup to help keep water oxygenated.

I kept mine running, i removed the cup because even if I left the drain open it would overflow the cup and from that height make a mess. Also I put a large measuring cup over the neck to direct the foam down so it didn't balloon up and on everything.

If the cup is on it will skim the meds. Cup off oxygenates the water. Some people set their skimmer to really wet skim and let overflow go into a big container for a couple of days and level out the water with new saltwater as a means to do the water change afterwards. I don't have a skimmer so I've never done it..but read about it.

After the water change there's still meds in the water and your skimmer will still be extra foamy. My skimmer cup has a drain so I ran a hose to a bucket and added SW to my ATO. So as the skimmer removes the meds and water the tank refilled with fresh SW.

Otherwise you will have to watch and adjust your skimmer.

My fruitloops zoa is my fastest growing zoa. Good thing I like it. orange oxide and eagle eye are my second fastest. Purple heart hornets are zipping along too. I really like Rasta but they don't seem to be growing fast. Kedds reds and armor of the gods. I also just got bowsers and illuminati.

I always said I didn't want a bunch of zoas, but they kind of grow on ya...
