Oh just another mess, she had a blast playing with it making snow packing peanut angels, jumping in it, dancing, and throwing it in the air.

She helped clean up when she was done so it's all good.

I'm always on the hunt for torches.

that's the one store in my area i have not been to, though i will use the excuse that i am still new to reef-keeping. i want to go see those torches tho, i need me some more!

That's a great question and I don't remember. It was either 109 or 149 I think.

Definitely unique, at least to me, I have never seen or heard of a branching variety before.

I thought that at first. I've looked them up, it appears Gonis can be mounding, encrusting, or branching. Not a lot out there on branching but what there is, it's slow growing but if fed regularly it helps.

It would make it easier to frag though, and look like a bouquet rather than a basket of flowers.

I have one that has gone all green with very dark polyps. It was originally purplish but went through a rough spell in February. It has since encrusted the plug and shown a lot of growth.

If you don’t mind doing a rescape , I’d say go for it. But if you have room and can afford to do so do a new tank I guess. It depends on how happy you are with your present set up I guess. Me I’d probably do a rescape . I’d even be a bit scandalous by breaking at least one of them up to re-work if I was putting some in the nano. Maybe I little like this. Terrible drawing, but it give a rough idea.

i've started thinking about swapping my current 125 for the one i just picked up this last weekend. my reasoning is that the glass is pretty scratched on the running one and the new one is in near pristine condition, but the thought of transferriung everything and redoing the plumbing is daunting, however, the new stand would give me a lot more room underneath it. has anyone transferred a tank this large?
