Everyone's settling in nicely. the Tomini chases the female Angel here and there but no damage or constant chasing. everyone ate well today too!

Haven’t posted in a bit.
Female swallowtail possibly had some ich. Gave it a dip in Ich X. The few spots remained on the fin. As of today it’s been a few weeks there’s no spots and no spots to be seen on other fish. Everyone else is healthy and happy. My yellow and Tomini tangs seem to be getting thicker which is good.
On the coral front. I added a Super green purple tip torch from a LFS “The Reef Gallery” here in Pittsburgh. It’s doing well and seems to to be getting bigger by the day.
Bam Bam zoas are taking off, but are staying small. Utter chaos frag is up to 5 polyps.
Got some spots of hair algae which blows off very easy in the tank.
My skimmer has been on the Fritz, it randomly stops making the bubbles and just pushes water. Cleaned it with citric acid and such and moved the bubble plate some as I think I had it slightly off from cleaning.

Had a very good week this week.
First ordered some RO stuff on BRS and got a 100$ code from their promotion they’ve been doing. Used that to buy a Hanna nitrate checker and some Hydros stuff.
Well today they started posting codes on their Instagram stories as they were showing off tanks. I was super lucky enough to check and see this as it was posted and scored another 100$. With that I bought an RODI booster system.
It gets better….I scored two more 100$ codes on two more of the posts. So with each code I paid half price for the Reefbrite XHOs for my Radions!
Stoked I was able to get 400$ Off of some great gear this week. Maybe I’ll get lucky with more codes in my new shipments!

Got the Reefbrites installed, they look nice and clean on the XR15s. Turned down the 15s to 40% from 45% to not burn corals.
Something else exciting, in my final Reefbrite package I received ANOTHER 100$ code from BRS making my total 500$ in free stuff!

Guess its been awhile.
Tank hasn't made any leaps, I'm battling cyano. I also believe there's something going on with my water so i have ordered an ICP test specifically for my RO water.
My swallowtail angel fish quit eating after the last chemiclean treatment a month ago, he's still alive and still not nearly as active. My biggest loss was my yellow tang, fed him the night prior was healthy, next day gone not a trace. couldn't have jumped due to the lid, he's just vanished.

Hey there, I have an EXT200 and just purchased an EXT 50 for my clown pair and news, but trying to figure out lighting. Your XR15 mounts, how far do they stretch the center of the light across the tank? They look like they sit a little behind center, but can't find definitive information. Thank you and great build.

Yes they don’t quite reach the middle of the tank. I’d say they’re about 3 inches short of being centered. However they also sag on the mounts when fully extended.
if I were to do it over I would get the long bar and mount the lights from the sides or hang the fixtures from the ceiling.

When I say sag the hang down and the tilt faces them a little towards the back of the tank. I don’t believe I have a lighting issue in the tank either way, just an asthetics thing.
I also suck at keeping corals for some reason these days
