Well, I hate to disappoint you all. My son had practice tonight so I could only get pics under blue led and well, you know how that goes. I managed to salvage two mediocre pics. I'm not happy with them but I didn't wanna leave you guys empty handed.

I'd say this one has a quarter inch of new growth around it.

this one is encrusted onto the rock but is sprouting new heads! The majority of new growth is between .25-.5 inch. All LPS are doing very good. Acans, lobo, alveopora , rbta are all full.

I think it's slowly going away. Very slowly! However it's different algae then before so I consider it a stage. It's only covering like 2 corals so I'm just letting it do its thing. I've been really busy with my sons baseball so I haven't had time to stress over the algae anyways :) hopefully when baseball is done the algae will be gone.

I like seeing updates to your tank! The chromis in the middle in the second pic looks crazy, it's like the camera tried to delete it, lol. I just ordered my first led strip for my t5's today. Can you tell a big difference with yours and the t5's?

Thanks bud, the reefbrites weren’t on in this pic but yeah you can tell a difference, not really when the T5s are all the way turned up. I use them for looks really, they’re only on 3 hours in the morning and 4 hours at night. They really only run an hour or so in conjunction with the T5s. But I love the way they add shimmer and pop to the corals. I’ll take some more pics for reference

Edit: I tried to take some with just the LED and it’s just washed out blue. You will like it trust me, can’t be the shimmer and pop of LED

Slowly...yes.. I just scrubbed it big time and flipped over some rocks that I could that had algae on top of them
If you were close I'd loan you that urchin for a few weeks. Bye bye algae and your coraline won't get wiped out... Just uh, you gotta make sure all frags are bolted and welded down.
