Return pump didnt make it on the shipment... I blame @NY_Caveman

Amazon will have it here Monday. Will plumb around it. Need to let everything cure before getting it wet anyways. No biggy.

I don’t think you can fairly blame @NY_Caveman till it arrives an you need to send it back damaged and wait for replacement....
You can borrow my pump I use for salt mix barrel if ya need a temp one got a few dif output pieces around somewhere may be workable

:p

At a jack and jill at the moment, against my free will, sitting at a table with all women...

Shoot me. I am browsing BRS clearance and watching the Live Sale from TSA before I start growing female body parts. Shoot me.

Thanks. But I'll be fine until Monday, I'll plumb the return pump into the return line at the union and itll be cake. Then I'll turn it on and see what happens. The 125 will be run on the canister while I wait for everything to cure.

Blue pipes black fittings.....
See that's what I wanted... but my girl talked me out of it.. check the white fittings with blue pipe. I'm trying to keep white/blue/black cuz return pump is blue/black, skimmer is all white with blue markings. Hmmm

Heres a peninsula with blue pipe/white fittings.

Its clean. And easier than adding abrasian via sandpaper to every single fitting, since they are already white. The lazy man in me says blue/white.

Just listen to your girlfriend. [emoji849]

Taking her advice, and keeping her involved, are 2 very good ideas. [emoji846]

Apologies to Crabbs McJones for stealing the GIF. [emoji12]

Excellent point. Hmmmmm..

@Crabs McJones black pipe blue fittings = 2hrs more work.. but it's original... and it is stealthy. I like it.

Blue pipe white fittings = agree with lady, less work...

I have the black paint along with the blue already. So it's really about how long I wanna stay up sanding and painting tonight.

My buddy will be here for breakfast at 7am to start the build.

Following along! For what it's worth, I think the white fittings look just fine ;)

Welcome to the show! Not sure if I can trust you, due to gender bias :p

35 years with my wife I’ve learned she’s right I’m wrong she’s smart I’m not so much
Go with the ladies advice not very often does taking your ladies advice mean less work :)

Wisdom

Also you should look at maybe setting your tank up peninsula style...... another wrench in the works ;)
Get the dang wifi calling and texin working like I said! Yea, the white is very tidy. But I wonder, does it only look that good in the pic cuz that stand is white?

All fish are in holding tank now, canister is swapped over, running a nano pump in there as well, and dropped the arch and a piece of live rock in their to help with bio filtration.

20190324_003537.jpg

All the fish look as well as can be expected.

Pulled all the equipment out of the 125 and its gonna get an overnight vinegar soak, and then run them in the vinegar mix for a couple hours to loosen some crap up before they get a quick scrub and put back in tomorrow night.

Live rock, Inverts, and anemones are in 2 30g rubbermaids. Heater will go in each, with an air stone in each as well. I think bacteria and inverts should be ok for 18hrs like that.

Corals are in a bucket. I'm under the impression heat is all that matters for the 18hrs or so they will be in there. They've got a little 30g heater to manage that for the time being.

Almost time to get 4hrs of sleep before the hard part starts. Gnite reefers!
