Red planaria. My army of wrassed will make short work of that.
Mine will as well, but not dips or has wrasses. Between the timor and the radiant, they eat pretty much anything

Arrived today, they delivered to the wrong address lol... had to drive around the neighborhood to find it. Everything looks great other than maybe the bubble coral might be DOA, but it's fine. Clam looks amazing, bubble coral was huge for $40 bucks, hopefully it might make it. And the bowerbankis I bought off the eBay auction were huge. Very impressed for my first purchase! Thanks!

Bubble corals can retract pretty deep into the skeleton and look pretty crappy when stressed. Give it some time to open up, it might rebound for you.

Y'all who got Euphyllias, check them well. The 2 I received for the ultra Euphyllia pack (toxic torch and flashlight torch) have visible flatworms on them, and the toxic torch came as a half rotten (BJD) total loss, as both frags are 1 head frags...
Figured I would update this. The flashlight torch that had flatworms is doing well after a dip to remove them.

AquaSD reached out today and is reshipping both torch corals free of charge next week, and said they are making sure that does not happen again. They've already gone through all their Euphyllias, and said it was unacceptable that they slipt through the cracks and were shipped like that.

10/10 a great vendor to work with, and reshipping both corals shows they really go above and beyond to keep their customers happy. Buy with confidence.

Awesome news, and I’m happy for you! AquaSD is really great, and your experience is another reason I appreciate them.

I’ve personally never had bugs or pests on any frag I’ve received from AquaSD. However, I always start with the default expectation that a frag will have some creepy crawlers, no matter where it comes from, and handle new corals with that in mind. Pests can come from anywhere, really, and they are especially more likely to appear on new imports. Maybe they used a different dip than usual that didn’t knock them off. Maybe they were rushed and didn’t follow their normal procedure. Either way, it’s awesome to hear you got taken care of, and I hope people don’t get left with a lasting negative impression.

On a completely different note, anyone wanting to be shocked a little should venture into some precious threads by large, three letter vendor in central Florida, and see how many people have had nasty stuff all over expensive frags. I personally had frags infested (even with dreaded vermetid snails) to the point I no longer purchase from them!

Just remembered that I did have one hitchhiker from AquaSD. It was a stomatella snail, and it (surprisingly) withstood a very strong dose of coralRX.

I was pumped about it, and considered it cooler than a free frag

Looking slightly better. I have it in a small QT in case of anything. This is what it looked like when I first got it/emptied the bag for observation

I had a beautiful large scan frag from a vendor on here that starts with a p that was completely covered with digitate hydroids, can't believe they shipped it.

I received these tiny white with tan center starfish on a huge bowerbanki, 1 died in the dip, saved 1. All in qt now. Good to know about the planeria flatworm, I will keep these in qt for at least 30 days now, no way I'm nuking another tank due to flatworm. Other than that everything looks nice, rfa are much larger than expected, one zoa is bland under my lights, nothing like the pics, but expected.

Thinking of dipping weekly or more. Will zoa's and lps survive a Bayer dip?

@AquaSD what lighting are the rfa under normally? I have a primehd and it's set at 60% reduction and is already run lower power but they shrunk up when it came on. They were fully out with lights off and just the daylight in the room.

I figured I should share mine! This was my first order from AquaSD and very pleased. I sent an email to them asking to push back my shipping date because of weather, and they were happy to do so and responded to every email within 2 minutes!! My friend decided to buy some frags during the after sale so he paid me to add to the order. I don’t have pics of his, but they looked great! Here are mine. The pipe organ is just now starting to open up.

looks like they are still acclimating to their new environment. They should perk back up in a day or two

we typically have them under our A.I. Hydra 32s.

Current settings are:
UV - 20%
Violet - 10%
Royal - 100%
Blue - 100%
Green - 10%
Deep Red 10%
Cool White - 10%

That moment when the “order shipped” email comes and you forgot about some of the corals on the list… maybe I have a problem!

Thanks guys, I’ll find spots for it all, don’t worry.

Late reply, sorry!

I don’t use Bayer on anything but sticks. For pretty much everything I use CoralRX, followed by a bath in iodine (have a bottle of Seachem’s iodine dip currently). It’s been my favorite since I discovered it. I’ve found it to be very “gentle” but incredibly effective. Be careful with certain types of LPS that are sensitive like gonis. I initially discovered coral RX back in the day when I was hunting for a dip that wouldn’t leave my goniopora in shambles. Been using it ever since.

Also worth mentioning freshwater dipping. A lot of nasties that appear in saltwater can’t stand a freshwater dip. You could also do some of that

I've had bad luck with coralrx, but maybe a reef dip afterwards would help.

Just wanted to say I received the torch corals that AquaSD reshipped. They look great, and they even shipped a freebie frag along with them! AquaSD is definitely my favorite place for corals! I recommend them to everyone looking to add new corals to their reef tank.

The eagle has landed!

Everything came in looking great. The Space invader is huuuuge.

And I grabbed a dragon ballz on a whim based on someone else’s comment. It’s actually really sweet looking — red iridescent! The photos don’t do it justice.
