I have some bubble algae and I tried using mintrax crabs to take care of it..they liked my torches more so I had to suicide them.

My euphyllia is finally starting to take off. For some reason I remember a red sea recipe for coral growth that had 11+ alk. I was doing my tanks no favors with it that high. Once I brought my alk down in the 9's and realized my nutrients were out of whack, things starting looking really good. Once I start getting some head growth, I will definitely send a few your way.

Man, I definitely went overboard yesterday. Couldn't fall asleep and ended up back on the sale page (I'm in St Kitts, so 4 hrs ahead of AquaSD).
Between my eBay wins from Thursday and my stuff from yesterday, my wife has quite the box coming this Saturday. I really need to get my other 2 reefs finished setting up so I can start moving some of these corals out of my 75 gallon. Plus, I'd prefer the accimation box of maxi mini nems off the front glass of the tank.

Had the same issue so I started dropping a few algae wafers in at lights out. Seems to have worked so far but not after an Incredible Hulk torch casualty.

I was in 3 separate live sales in November. When my wife saw the list she forced me to build some frag racks and start getting equipment for a bigger tank...The look on your face when you buy so much you start worrying if you will have the room!!

I didn't have room after the Chinese new year sale. Still have 2 frag racks on the front glass completely filled. No idea where these are all going. Going to have to mount a lot of corals before next Saturday. My wife is gonna be surprised when she sees 3x what was supposed to be in the box. And she's got 80 lbs of rock being delivered, more lights, some other equipment, etc all showing up this week. Already had 60 lbs of rock and 80 lbs of aragonite show up last week...

I like to buy only female emerald crabs they are really easy to sex at the store. They have smaller claws do less damage get into tight spaces. Ive never had a problem with the females so far and one of them lives in one of my frogspawns. So thats saying something.

The males have a light house shaped belled on the under side the females do not have this shape bc they hold eggs. I'm telling yah this will save you heartache at the end of the day! Lol

Yeah LFS looks at me like I'm crazy when I tell them they have to pit their hands in the tank flip over the crabs so I can decide which ones I want. But since I taught them this trick now they only put females in their lps tanks. They've definitely saved a little money on frags that weren't damaged.I appreciate the help!!

I've got 3 tanks up right now. A red sea 625xxl, IM Sr80 and IM 25 lagoon used as a frag. I've been thinking of turning the 80 into another frag tank I've got so much and maintenance in 2 displays that size is constant. Frags are alot easier to maintain that's for sure.
