I may have to pick up a porcelain crab for the rock flower garden, although a pair of Pederson's cleaners would also look pretty sick

I could never be a nurse. I can only imagine. Some stuff sticks with you, and some things humans aren’t supposed to see. Combat zones are tough, but thinking of the stress of being a nurse in an ER or hospital all the time makes me feel anxious :(

How long do you have to be a nurse before becoming “numb”?
That depends on the person.
And how long you've been exposed to certain situations.
I've only been a nurse for 7 years, so I'm still kind of "new".
But I am surely not "numb" to anything, and hope I never become that way.
For the last year, I've specialized in oncology and I am an IV and infusion specialist. I'm one of less than 3000 Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI) in the world.
Oncology is HARD. People are scared, angry, confused. In the last year I'd say we lost at least a dozen patients. Some hit you much harder than others. I'm a very emotional and empathetic person. But I've had loved ones call just to speak to "the mermaid nurse with all the animals", to say thank you, for all my stories and antics that their loved ones would come home from treatment and talk about.
I love knowing I comforted these people while going through such a scary time.

Ugh, good morning Easties. Woke up to my natural alarm, a 2yr and 4yr old climbing into bed. Is it strange that my first rational thought was, "I wonder if @TeamAquaSD will 'kaboom' a crocea for me today"?

My one (soon to be 2) year old still sleeps in occasionally but my three year old is up and in my bed between 7-7:30 every morning, sometimes earlier.

Pretty sure I snagged 2 yesterday. I'm seeing quite a bit of bubble algae in my 110. I don't know how many there were, but I may have stolen them. Sorry!
Any more Emerald crabs or other inverts today? I had a couple in the cart yesterday and missed them!
