I want to buy some 12.8v stuff. Couple questions:
1) I want to buy the 280 AH power queen. Can I not simply take my two ecotech battery back up units apart, remove the lead acid battery and the the positive and negative wires from both units and hook them up to the same 3.5k wh 12v LiFePo4 battery? I used to race X-rays on foam and rubber. If you know you know. So, I can use a soldering iron, just not up to speed on the new tech DIY stuff
2) I’m thinking about buying several more of the same battery for other critical life support systems. If I go with a straight inverter I have to unplug stuff and plug it in manually to the inverter. Is there a device, like those eco rivers (I think that’s the name) where I can connect a battery of my choice to, and plug in an EB832. When power goes out it instantly switches to battery back up? Those all in one units are pricey for the AH I want. I’d rather price it together. Thoughts?
