You can do a search here or outside such as google on telegraham - he has some good DIY info on this which is what I've been using.
Oh yeah. Almost forgot this part. Yeah, @telegraham is the bomb-diggity. I wish I had him in my backyard so I could call him over whenever I needed a hand. Plus he gives away corals. You can never go wrong there!
Just wish he would get back to youtube a bit more since I'm not on IG. hint hint Though I understand people are a holes and that can get really tiring real quick.

Right. If I wanted to back the whole system up and have all the failovers work in programming I could certainly do that. With the way this will be set up however it will bypass that entirely and keep the whole system on DC power which will extend the life of the supply without all the inverter and converter losses. I can also still have safety in place through leak sensors and whatnot and kill the power in case something springs a leak at the same time since the brain will still be alive as well.

Your statement "When the brain senses 120v power loss at the eb832 then it would trigger programming to shut off/turn on whatever ports needed." is not possible as the eb832 will not have any power going to it. They will all be off in your scenario without the ability to be turned on.

I'll have to test that again tonight I guess but I thought the brain would sense the loss of the eb832 in a couple of ways. One would be the module is missing and another as a voltage/wattage loss since the sensors are no longer present. Using this data I could program the 24v to trigger.

Oh wait. I read that again. In my scenario there will be a FMM that is independently powered via the battery bank. So that will always have the ability to be controlled via the brain.

I am not sure there will be any power on the Aquabus without a powered 832. The individual units may have power but will they be able to communicate. Let us know….

The 12V aquabus if the head unit is powered will be powered. This won't let you throw any relays though.

The 24V ports are generally powered with the EB832 only, but you can also inject 24V. This doesn't help you control EB832 ports.

I used a 12 volt Deep Cycle Battery, a Salvage Battery Controller from a WatchDog Sump Pump, RIB and Two small 12 volt pumps. Tested it for Six and a half Days, while checking the Battery’s voltage. I would have gone longer, but got tired of testing the battery. BTW, this is just enough water moving to keep the Sump and Aquarium bio alive, and oxygenating the water.

Didn't have time to test anything tonight as I've got too many plates in the air at the moment including adding a UV and upgrading my main pump by tomorrow. But from what I've been able to research you are correct. If the brain has a 12v supply then this will supply the aquabus. This is perfect for my needs since it will allow me to still control external modules which have 24v ports I can supply with battery power to make them controllable if needed.
I also completely forgot about the 0-10v variable ports until I was reminded of them in another backup thread. That would be more than enough to trigger a relay (i think) which would also negate the need for an external module with a 24v supply as a backup. One less failure point in the chain on the power supply side.

My only concern with the relay idea is safety. If it failed in some way then there is a chance that both the battery backup supply and the normal supply circuits could close at the same time. I'm thinking this would produce some very bad magic smoke. So perhaps I should be adding fusing not only on the battery side but also on the normal powered side?

That is pretty stinkin good. Years ago I thought about using similar deep cycle spiral cell batteries but never did. Now with the advent of lifepo and the absence of gasses and most explosion risks outside of catastrophe I'm finally getting it done. Though if I had a garage or the ability to put the batteries outside I might use them. I don't know though. You can discharge a lithium battery to near zero without damage and bringing a lead acid below 50 will shorten the life and the trickle charge also cuts into longevity. I think cost wise you probably can't beat lifepo on a long enough timeline.
