They have a much better chance of surviving if the tank is 8-12 months old.Ok what is a general age to start putting anemones in?

Everything I've read says Epsom salt only works for fresh water fish. @vetteguy53081 ?One of my fish is showing symptoms of swim blatter disease and so I'm starting with a 2 day fast then if that doesn't work I'm going to do a Epsom salt bath

My phosphate spikes on occasion other than that everything else stays about the sameSorry - I can't keep track of all of the information - however, from the initial post, the anemone looks like it is dying. And likely fowling the tank. Is it still attached to a rock? are the tentacles still 'sticky'. The water looks cloudy - unless thats just the photo. I don't think the temperature is an issue - except that the higher the temp, the faster bacteria (including pathogens) multiply. I would agree with lowering it.
As to the fish - there is no benefit to an epsom salt bath in salt water. Instead feed brine shrimp, if you can. I do not know (someone mentioned 'trates' - I guess thats nitrates - however, I doubt thats playing a role with your anemone. I also have started tanks and added anemones within a week. I do not think the age of the tank is the issue - unless the parameters are jumping up and down.
Epsom salts is a freshwater remedy mainly for goldfish and no effect as fish are already in saltEverything I've read says Epsom salt only works for fresh water fish. @vetteguy53081 ?
