Agreed. Off hand, the tank doesn't look like it is old enough to be ready for an anemone. But parameters will tell more than a picture. Can you post all parameters and the age of your tank?
OK. Again off hand, it seems like the tank is too clean and too new. It may even still be cycling, at that age.Phosphate is at 0.50ppm
Nitrate is at 0ppm
Calcium is at 420ppm
Kh is at 196.9 (just dosed)
And my tank is about a month and a half old
And I my tank isn't old enough if someone is around Northern Ohio and wants it and has a tank suitable for it just let me know because it is still an animal and still want to look out for its well beingPhosphate is at 0.50ppm

Your tank is extremely young- anemones like older tanks because their parameters are much more stable.Phosphate is at 0.50ppm
Nitrate is at 0ppm
Calcium is at 420ppm
Kh is at 196.9 (just dosed)

Ok I will need to get a salinity test and temp is always at 82 degreesOK. Again off hand, the tank is too clean and too new. It may even still be cycling, at that age.
Please also share the temperature and salinity, but FYI you may need to find a new home for the anemone.
yeah, tank is too new. you also need some nitrates. And I my tank isn't old enough if someone is around Northern Ohio and wants it and has a tank suitable for it just let me know because it is still an animal and still want to look out for its well being
Ok I am fasting my fish right not so I'll move my angle to feed more what would you recommend I'm pretty sure I might have itYour tank is extremely young- anemones like older tanks because their parameters are much more stable.
Also 0 nitrates is way too clean AFAIK, you may have to feed more.
Salinity is very important, you'll definitely need to know that to keep corals or anemones. And 82f is a bit warm for anemones, usually 78-80 does better.Ok I will need to get a salinity test and temp is always at 82 degrees
Ok what is a general age to start putting anemones in?yeah, tank is too new. you also need some nitrates.
Ok I'll see about lowering the tank temp get a salinity testSalinity is very important, you'll definitely need to know that to keep corals or anemones. And 82f is a bit warm for anemones, usually 78-80 does better.
I’m not very familiar with anemones compared to soft corals but generally under 20ppm and over 0ppm is a broad range to keep your Nitrates at.Ok I am fasting my fish right not so I'll move my angle to feed more what would you recommend I'm pretty sure I might have it
I do research on it everyday from articles to videos and that's how I've gotten my tank how it is now but still unsure of how to maintain steady parameters and I test every 2 days and filter changes/waterchanges depending on test resultsI’m not very familiar with anemones compared to soft corals but generally under 20ppm and over 0ppm is a broad range to keep your Nitrates at.
You seem extremely new to this hobby- try doing some research about your tank. It will help you understand and maintain your tank a lot better!
I get that I didnt take it as mean but yea I'd rather the brutal honest truth then have my entire tank crash and burn so I appreciate all of you guys helping me out82 is high. Also you should be able to test salinity yourself. A device to measure is the first thing someone should get when starting the hobby. You may want to go back and do some more research on the hobby before proceeding. Just being honest not mean.
