I was looking for a tailspot blenny to replace the bicolor I had but the store didnt have any of those in.
I will feed the tank either cyclops & mysis, Omega one micro pellets, new life spectrum pellets, and I usually switch it up randomly. I also have been using Aquavitro fuel for the corals as well as occasionally using reef roids.
I bought a small yellow coris wrasse and a pygmy cherub angel. Both are settling in nicely.
Just bought a cherub angel as the last fish in my 29 gallon biocube. He's gorgeous! He was a little shy for about a week..maybe cuz he was the last fish. I have two ocellaris clownfish and a goby pistol shrimp combo and of course a cuc. But now my cherub angel is out all the time and a great eater. I love to watch him swim through, under and around my rocks. You made a great choice! Your tank looks awesome!
The cherub and the wrasse have been awesome so far. They are both always out swimming around. The wrasse has adjusted to my light cycle and usually 20 minutes before the whites go off he disappears into the sand bed. Both are actively searching the rock work and aggressively eating any food I put into the tank.
I have been rearranging some of the frags again and trying to find more permanent spots on the rocks. Only a couple pieces left on the sand.
Recently picked up some new salt as I was running low on Seachem Reef Salt, so I went with Red Sea Coral Pro instead. I have tried it in the past but that was when I just had lps and softies. Really trying to eliminate the magnet mounted pieces on the glass and get everything onto the rockwork. Will post up some updated pictures soon.
Just had some free time and I took down my led fixture and replaced 2 of the leds. They were a "warm" white and I replaced them with a cool white instead. I think those warm leds were giving the tank an odd purple look, now just to wait and see if I notice a difference.
Welp,,,,, I made an upgrade on my lighting. Found a lightly used radion g2 and decided to make the purchase. Will be arriving sometime next week. Looking forward to getting it up and running.
