Thanks Rev & whoknew.

I dont have anything bad to say about the oceanrevive fixture, great coverage and an all over nice light. I am just finicky with things and would always find myself messing with the dimmer knobs. I planted a small idea in my head about getting a radion a few months ago and you know how it is in this hobby. It just kept picking at me until I finally found one and decided to go for it.

Just hooked up the radion and wow are these fixtures nice! I didnt realize how small and lightweight they are. I have it hanging about 10.5 inches above the tank and its set on radiant - 18k- 35% intensity for the time being.

Here are some better pictures with the radion up.

Its a lot easier to take pictures of the tank now as I no longer have that purple washout.

Just picked up an ecotech battery backup. Got it used for a great price. Need to hook it up and find a place to put it out of sight.

I picked up a used one about 3 years ago...I tested it and it ran my MP10 for more than 10 hours...I stopped testing it after that and just have it hooked up. I wont ever need it for more than a few hours. Electricity cuts in London, UK are SO rare. But once or twice I've had building works going on and the electricity for my flat had to be cut, the battery was most useful in this situation.

I got the battery backup and plugged it in but it doesnt work. I think there might be issues with the power supply for it and/or the fused cable that plugs into the pump driver. Trying to find a cheaper alternative to the power supply online. Not real easy.

Still trying to figure out the problem with the battery backup. Cant get it to power the pump. This week I will be taking it apart to figure out what is exactly wrong with it, either the battery or power supply.

Did some cleaning up today. Removed some pieces that had started going downhill and picked up a piece that i brought to a friends to recover. Orange leptastrea.

Mine had a slight issue when I got it. I noticed some rust on the socket on mine. I sprayed WD40 into the socket to breakdown/clean out some of the rust. Worked fine after. I think if you can open it up and ensure all the connections are fine you should be able to get it working.
