Wow, looks like I forgot to update this thread here.

Here is an updated FTS taken today.

Here is a picture of my pregnant emerald crab. You can see the big bulge she is covering with her claws.

Looking great! I love trying to find my pom pom crab, aka the fists of fury. Looks like the leds are really working for you.

Tank is looking great. Getting a pair of porcelain anemone crabs. I hope they do as well as your emerald.

Thanks guys. I like the leds so far, and I think I found a good setting on them. A few pieces have colored up nicely, but just hoping that the other sps pieces that faded color back up as well. I have a few pieces that have been on the sandbed for over 3 weeks now and they are doing real great. will try to get updated pictures of them soon.

Recently lowered the intensity of the leds. Now its around 30% whites and 50% blues. Everything is looking great and recently picked up some more frags. Now the sandbed is real packed as all the pieces acclimate.

Tricky to get good pictures of the corals as this fixture makes the camera pick up lots of purple.

Here is a recent picture of my ice fire frag. Starting to really take off.

I hear you about acclimation. This fixture has been a little tricky in acclimation. I currently have mine running at about 10-15% white and 65-70% blue. Hoping it works for me.

I have no problem with acros on my sandbed. I have neon green mille, bali tricolor, Cali tort all looking great and growing nicely on the sand. But its like if I move them up they lose some color. Thats what made me lower the settings a bit.

I have a tricolor that's growing great on the sand bed, but it's polyp extension is crap. All my acros at the top of tank have great polyp extension and growth. Idk what the difference is. The tricolor is a low light acro.

Going to do a much needed upgrade. Too many corals and frags all over the sandbed and not enough rock space to put them all. This tank is only going to be running till the weekend after Halloween.

Then it is getting torn down and everything switched over into a 40Breeder.

What kind of fixture where you using? I love the coloring of the torch... I'm going to try to find the same one for my 27 gallon cube :)
