I think I have a gen 1 kalk reactor. I previously used it without issues on my old system using an aqualifter to feed it. My aqualifters are all dead now so I am feeding it with a Neptune dos qd, but when the dos comes on the maxijet starts leaking at the twisting part of the connection. I have tried two different pumps. Is there a better pump I can use that will fit this reactor that can handle the pressure without leaking?

Hello unfortunately because of the hole configuration, you need to use the same pump unless you completely try to retrofit something yourself.

I would advise instead of using that Neptune feed pum try using a peristaltic pump. That pump is just pumping in too much pressure inside the reactor and the seals on the maxi jet can’t handle it. Something with less pressure should take care of your leak problem on the pumps.
Thank you

Sorry after rereading this use the QD in pull configuration instead of push. This should remove the pressure inside the reactor and relieve the seals on the MaxiJet. Also check all the tubing for clogging.
