I scrapped my old entry and replaced it with this one instead.

I'm planning this one out lol
This is a pic of my mixed reef from 14 years ago. I was trying to take a snap of my royal gramma but he was moving too fast. The iPhone back then couldn’t handle the exposure and white balance with the brightness of metal halide lights.Welcome to the Reef2Reef POTM Contest - Photo of the Month
Sponsored by Avast Marine!
This month's subject - Bad photo of a nice subject
Deadline to Enter: 31 oct , 2024 at 11:59 pm (EST)
A controversial topic for this month, Chose your subject, photo has to meet photography fialure:
out of focus, not sharp, incorrect white balance, motion, distortion or any other thing that makes the shot a failure by photography consideration.
The trick is to make the shot artistic!!!
No watermarks or captions are allowed in the pictures and pictures with watermarks will be disqualified.
A bit of info around your topic and why you chose it or why you went for the imperfection you chose and why you think your shot is artistic and how you achieved that, would help understand your choice .
This is a fun competition so let's do our best to make our pictures look bad but remain artistic, most important is lets keep it fun and active with constructive discussion around the topic or subject.

But what if I win?????This is not a contest you want your friends to tag you in unless you enjoy a good old-fashioned humbling.
With that being said, I'm glad to see @Gumbies R Us is already involved! LOL!
Just kidding, you know you're my favorite photographer.
Maybe not. This could bring out the creative side of someThis is not a contest you want your friends to tag you in unless you enjoy a good old-fashioned humbling.

All the more reason to enter. Giving all of us inspiration to greatness in badness….I mean all of my pictures meet this criteria. I'm basically a ringer.
Does this count?
Watermarks on the glass, too much blue lighting, and yet a Sailfin blenny right in the centre
Basically a POTM where we focus on the subject and not on the quality of the shot. And we take it one step more by insisting on a photographically bad shot so we take out the advantage of people with pro camerasnot sure i get it
