She hasn't bitten me yet, so her risk of becoming a real taco is still pretty slim.
My new Mocha started slamming into my hand when it's in "her" tank now. She really only does it when I'm using a sponge to scrub the acrylic though. She hasn't bit me yet. I pretended to catch her with my hand the other day and she decided she didn't like that. That may have been all it took for now. We'll see.

I haven't been bitten by a fish yet, but I've been bitten many times by my parrot, and I've trained her that biting me does not have the intended effect--I push my hand into her chest rather than draw it away, which is awkward for her, and now she doesn't bite me anymore. Wonder if a fish can learn like that.

You have a parrot? I didn’t realize you were part of the parrot club with Miami

Yes, I'm cute. "you're going back to your bird palace, now".

Mine is quiet. He never reaches the 120 decibel screech.
You're lucky! Carrot has 0 qualms with it.
Most especially if someone she doesn't know is coming to the front door.
Between the birds and the big dogs barking, I don't get may solicitors.

Ever since my boys became feral animals running through the house, jumping on furniture and flinging poo everywhere (allegedly), my sennie has made it her personal goal to break 120.
