Hello,

I just got myself a custom made polycarbonate lid, the reason i got this is because i have cats & don’t wanna take risks with them.

But i have been an idiot & didn’t leave any space for cooling fans. Yes i made alot of air holes & stuff but nothing huge.

Are there any solutions besides a chiller? It’s an waterbox 50.3 AIO tank so sump is in the back, can i put a fan towards the small open sump or is the water surface to small? The house could get around 28*C sometimes.

I have added pictures

I think you are probably ok. My tank will regularly fluctuate above 78 with no noticeable effect. You just can't get too high.

What is too high? Could i make precautions like getting a inkbird thermometer and add a cooling fan towards my AIO sump if that would help?

I have a aqua medic x flow 3000 that i could aim towards a small portion of my sump?
