My new little gigs did this. Unfortunately, only one of them made it.
Dang.. sorry to hear. Fingers crossed these are going to settle in after treatment.
It's not usual for small ones to do this in treatment. It's almost as if they're constipated and ball up to prepare themselves for a big push. I wouldn't be surprised if you said that it opened back up and expelled something.
I did not see at around long enough to see if anything was expelled but it was fully opened and inflated when I checked on it later.

Just turned the lights on and both of them, again tightly balled up. Only noticed this once starting the cipro treatment. Hoping you’re right and it’s them clearing out whatever bacterial gunk is in them. They don’t look sickly balled up, very firm, and foot well attached

Blue is looking pretty good last 36hrs. Hasn’t really opened its mouth or shown much deflation.

Green detached itself sometime last night and is somewhat hanging on in the flow. Still looks okay overall

I would reduce flow if it is struggling to stay attached

Added the blue gig back into the display today. It’s bitter sweet because I do not think the green is going to make it. Today marks its 9th day in treatment and looks very poorly, still very sticky to the touch but has had gaping mouth for past 48hrs. The blue seems to have responded very well and has looked good the past 4-5days now. I’m happy I was able to get this one to the other side.
