Good Morning! I'm working on list of fish for my tank and I think I am pretty close to making my final choices! I have a 75g with a 40g sump, I believe my whole system runs about 105g! Thanks!

I currently have:

In DT:
2 - Purple firefish - Bonded pair

In QT:
1 - One Spot Foxface
1 - Starry Blenny

I would like to add:
2 Bangaii Cardinals - Bonded pair
1 - Melanuras Wrasse
1 - McCoskers Wrasse
1 - Carpenter Wrasse
And possibly:
1 - Flame Angel

Any dwarf angel can be a coral nipper. Fish for a 30g include a firefish, bangaii cardinal, zebra dartfish, yellow assessor, royal gramma, pearly jawfish, stigmatura blenny, midas blenny, sunburst anthias.

It really depends, each tank is different. You may be able, just add slowly and test frequently.

That list looks good. I would only suggest adding the angel last to curb aggression.

I think I know the answer, but does anyone keep a queen angel? I have a 5 ft 125g with 1 purple tang, yellow tang, maroon clown, diamond goby and a green chromis. Everything just got transferred into the new tank this past weekend. Have a couple of soft corals, but planning on getting more. Thanks!

Most leather corals should be ok, though I have seen nipping of toadstool polyps, zoas, palys, gsp, xenia/anthellia will all be on the menu.

Yes, it should be fine in a 40g

No, there are no tangs appropriate for a 40g. 'Bigger' fish for a 40 would include most Centropyge angels, marine betta, Dendrochirus lions.

For a 50 gallon 3ft tank, what do you think of this list?

Pair of Occ Clowns
1 McCosker Flasher Wrasse
1 Melanurus Wrasse
1 Yellow Watchman Goby

Any particular order I would need to add? And does that leave any room to add fish down the road? Thanks

Can I post a question here about adding fish or should I make my own thread?

That list looks good, with room for more later. The order on those species doesn't matter much. Maybe add the melanurus last.

Those should all work, though some have found chromis pare themselves down, this has not been my experience. I find that if they are fed multiple times a day, they are fine.

That is what this thread is for, so ask away. Creating your own thread is fine too.
