How big a tank do you need to get a marine betta? What about a small lion fish?
Marine bettas get fairly lg, I would recommend a minimum of 65g, preferably 75g.

Dwarf lionfish could work in your size tank, but they are capable of eating anything the size of their body minus fins, so the gramma, goby, and possibly wrasse could be on the menu.

Ok so I for sure want a dwarf angel. Are there more mellow dwarf angels than others. I really like the multicolor dwarf angel but seems to be the most expensive

What about a jawfish? Anyone have a blue spotted or yellow headed jawfish that can tell me about their personalities or temperament. I heard the yellow head have great personalities. Is this true?

I have a Blue Spot Jawfish. I love him! He's so funny and has a great personality. I see him peeking around a corner checking to see if i'm still looking at him. He really doesn't like the camera. He also eats from my hands (some times) and will eat straight from a turkey baster if I feel like the other fish got all the food before he did. They are really cool. Although, you have to make sure your rockwork is securely stacked and set directly on the bottom glass. They will create burrows throughout your entire tank and constantly work on them. Mine has a favorite but does use the others at least once a week. You need to have a sandbed 2in+ I did 3 to 3 1/2 inches and he likes it much better than the measly 2 inches in my last tank.

The blue spot needs 3 to 4 inches of sand and supply plenty of small rock rubble so they can create their burrows. They do much better if kept with mellow fish. Great personality and would always put a rock over his burrow hole every night.

Multicolors are almost guaranteed to eat corals, and are certainly on the more expensive side for dwarf angels, but by no means the most expensive.

Jawfish are very personable fish. They are prone to jumping, though, so a tight fitting lid is a must.

Blue spotted Jawfish are from cooler waters, so live shorter lives when kept in reef temps.

Provide rubble for any jawfish species to build their burrow.

I have kept a few species on numerous occasions and sand depth of 2"+ will suffice.

What about a manta ray if I keep trimming his tail with a nail clipper and only feed him pods?

Maybe?? You'd probably have to upgrade to a 10g tank though within a couple years! Lol [emoji4]
For the record I'd exney the nail clippers as well. Sawzall works best IME (witch is none)......

OK I have more questions. I used to have a starry blenny and my wife who isn't fond of the tank but is warming up to it loved the blenny and its personality.

So 2 questions......

Does the Starry Blenny and the Black Sailfin Blenny have the same personalities? And it looks like the Sailfin stays a bit smaller. Is this true?

Thanks

The starry and black sailfin have similar personalities. The sailfin is only slightly smaller than the starry.

New to saltwater. Setting up a 24 gallon nano cube. So far I've decided on:

1 Clown(not sure which yet)
1 Royal Gramma
1 Skunk Shrimp

Would like to get 1 more fish in there is possible. Any suggestions? Goal with tank is mainly a soft/zoa tank with a few lps. Thanks

I would recommend getting something small, a firefish, clown goby, sailfin blenny, or a small watchmen goby.

Most of those fish will work, but naso tangs will eventually outgrow a 180, and an adult achilles tang can have too much attitude for a 180.
which type of wrasses can be kept beside cleaner shrimps, thanks
All of the fairy and flasher wrasses are completely safe with inverts. Leopards, Anampses, and small Halichoeres species are usually safe with them, but there are exceptions.

Both are fairly common and very hardy. They are not super active swimmers, but do get pretty large. A 120g would probably suffice, but they are capable of eating smaller fish.
