Good news, the guys are in!

The good and not so good, fast forward an hour the big guy hit the sand, it is now secured elsewhere!
This was very gently rolled in glue before being placed, I think I covered most of the freshly dead exposed skeleton! ;)

I wish hawkfish were smaller. they're one of my favorite fish but they don't jive with snack sized gobies, my other favorite fish :(

I might try a Geometric pygmy hawk again, it was a great fish but he was a little much for everything around him. He was a scrappy little thing.

I might try a Geometric pygmy hawk again, it was a great fish but he was a little much for everything around him. He was a scrappy little thing.

I had a geometric, another that vanished a couple of months ago, I had it for a couple of years, mine was very shy.

Mine used to stare at me all day and watch my computer screen lol. Hew as far from cryptic, and def on the aggressive side. My melanarus stayed out of his way during feeding time, he had no chill.
