Here is my equipment list, bolded items are IMO vital for my softie tank:
Reef Octopus Skimmer
9V UV filter
Jebao doser (dose Tropic Marin All-for-Reef, amazing stuff!! havent done a water change in two years!)
2 Jebao gyres
Aqualife T5 lights (I really didnt need these, but with my new Ritteri nems they'll have to stay)
3 Kessil A360s
1 Kessil N360
DIY sump refugium
2 wifi cams

The new ritteri is on day 5 of observation and is doing very well in the QT tank. So far it has no sign of infection and has not under gone any inflation/deflation cycles, so no need for any cipro treatment yet. I’ll begin mixing DT water in the QT tank tank tomorrow to see if there is any reaction.

Since the nem is significantly larger than I anticipated I rearranged as much as I could keep my more established corals and colonies while still making enough room for the nem. I also decided to remove some pieces in my tank (tequila bottle covered with GSP, one RBTA, and some mushrooms) and traded them in for some shelf rock.

I've been searching my LFSs for a shelf rock for some time now, do you have any tips to share, what to look for? your rock doesn't look like a STAX rock, or maybe I am wrong. I have 2 kessil a160w and I am struggling with the decision to get the Kessils a360x or switch to AI Hydra 64 HD....

I was really just looking for pieces that were the right size and weight for my tank and that’s about it. As far as the lights it depends on what you want. I couldn’t find any pics of your tank or stock in your other posts so it’s going to depend on what you have/want before I would recommend upgrading to 360x or AI 64.

The new ritteri is doing great! The older one has even seemed to have opened up even more with the addition of the new one.

The new shelf rock took up some prime real estate which meant I had to relocate several pieces. For one reason or another some coral didn’t work in their new location (flow too high or low, aggression from other corals, etc.) so I had to get rid of several pieces including my GSP covered bottle and most of my gorgs. Gorgs are highly sensitive to any other corals touch them that can either sting or start chemical warfare. My long polyp was gently touching them and that meant they immediately began loosing their flesh. So since removing the long polyp isn’t an option the gorgs had to leave unfortunately.

Tank doing well. My first ritteri is doing very well and is considerably larger. The second one is bleaching for some reason to I’ve decided to lower it to reduce par and work it back up slowly. There have been no inflate or deflate cycles so I won’t do a cipro treatment.

You wrote on earlier post: "This is my bottle collection. The one on top is completely covered with GSP except for the feather duster that is coming out from the opening...the other two bottles hold my tube "nems" since there is no sand."
Can you please explain how it works? size of bottles? cut the bottom?? sand? Thank you

Amazing tank. Really like the coral selection and softie you have grown there.

What you aim or what are your N03 and P04?
NO3 is around 10 since most softies like it a bit dirty, for PO4 it runs around .06 but I don’t test that as often as I should.

@ramona The bottle was sold recently to free up some space in the tank but it was a tequila bottle about 8in tall. I used my son’s old Red Rider BB gun to crack the bottom so there was circulation in the bottle to avoid waste from collected in there. To get it covered I just peeled off GSP from the sides of the tank that were over grown and let it grow all over the bottle using gel superglue to keep it attached to the bottle. As soon as it was covered (about 6 months) I put one of my feather dusters in the top. The GSP grew on the feather duster and the feather duster just kept building its tube followed by the GSP! I actually cut the feather duster out and kept it, you can see it on the last pick to the right of the pink tube anemone.

Incredibly beautiful tank, well done. I thought you had to much lighting for softs but you certainly know what you are doing there.
I actually do have too much lights for a softie tank and wouldn’t recommend that much to someone. I just got a really good deal on the T5 set up that I decided to run them. The T5’s only ran for a couple of hours as a supplement to the tank until I got the mags. I had to slowly ramp up the time to get the tank used to the added par for the mags and it seems like everything acclimated well.

Thank you.
Also, regarding tube anemone, it was my understanding they need to be on the sand and away from other corals; looks to me you have BB tank? What is your secret? they are beautiful!

I was reading that for tube anemone temperature need to be kept between 60 to 72° F (15.5 to 22°C); what temp do you keep your tank if I may ask....
