What's the fan leaf right front corner? Had a bunch of that on my gulf rock.Spam!!!!!
Dude so beautiful!Spam!!!!!
That is long fern caulerpa (c. ashmeadii). More than likely, your live rock had fern caulerpa (c. sertulariodes). That is a sprout. It will get a blade of about 10” tall. What's the fan leaf right front corner? Had a bunch of that on my gulf rock.
This is the sump for the 2x 180s that were previously connected. The tanks are liking the new setup though. The way the sump, it catches larger detritus in the skimmer chamber. This then allows the smaller bits to pass by and back up for coral food. The macros are loving all the tang poop also lol. Most have great growth for just a week.Dude so beautiful!
How are they liking being in the connected system?
Crap. Hit post too soon. This is the sump for the 2x 180s that were previously connected. The tanks are liking the new setup though. That sounds awesome. I was turned around in my chair staring at tanks thinking today where I could drop a remote fuge. Not sure mine is going to cut it alone.Crap. Hit post too soon.
In regard to the fish barn, so far so good. Water clarity in nem tank is better and the sps in there seems to like the extra something or another being added from the macro tank. Not sure it likes the DOC, waste from the numerous sponges, the cheatogrow or what lol. Either way, almost 600 gallons gives a lot of buffer. Still have to get a pic of the nem/shroom tub that sits under the macro tank. Being just those, it will make all the flow stick kids go “ooooo ahhhhh” lol.
Every tank is oooo ahhhh lol it all looks goodCrap. Hit post too soon.

I have straight up 2" holes is the walls with PVC connecting my tank in the sitting room to the sump in my office.I don’t need a remote fuge. But that doesn’t stop me from trying to figure out how to dr Frankenstein some sort of abomination of tanks plumbed together.
Abomination because these visions include straight up solid pvc cutting through the stairway, hallways, etc
All of which to say. DO IT.
I got so far as to thinking how sweet it would be to make a shallow lagoon canopy size to go above the existing tank which was fed by it another return off of the manifold and returned back to the sump... I should not be allowed to get bored on conference calls.I have straight up 2" holes is the walls with PVC connecting my tank in the sitting room to the sump in my office.
