1st set of corals have gone in today, a couple of hammers. Yet to be glued but appears happy in the current placement. I know these van sting other corals so would it be wise to put them together somewhere? Were completely closed up when first put in the tank after a dip of polyplab reef primer. Now slowly starting to open up again.

Coming along nicely, I envy you lol
Dw once you get it cycled it becomes addictive when you purchase your first coral. I need to have a couple weeks off buying them now. Lol only because of the wife.

Believe fish will be next week, unfortunately she wants and the kids want clownfish.

Water change day,it appeared diatoms were stable dor last few days so it was time to vacume the sandbed. And man the water was very brown. Was only leeft for 12 day.

checked parameters and all stable before and after WC.

Today I took my boy to choose a couple of captive clownfish for his first week at kindy. Was so excited and chosen well, 2 that have been paired for the last 14 days without any issues. Have be acclimatise and put into the tank, have already taken food so its a good sign so far.

Have been swimming on the front of tank for the past couple of hours and are very friendly swimming to the top of tank to feed.

Good to the hear the clowns are doing well so far!
Which way did you do the acclimation? Drip/Float ?
Sat bag in tank for 30 mins then every 15mins added 1/3cup of tank water 4 times then let them sit for 30mins then put them in. Happy as larry! Woke up this morning to them on the otherside of the tank, exploring a bit over night. Guess its a good sign.

What a goby of some sort sand sifter and waiting for a red line shrimp to arrive, apparently very hard to get in Western Australia and $200 aud each. Or could get a banded coral shrimp for $30but not a fan of them.
